Bio

Mr. Weiss is the Assistant Principal for the class of 2025 at Schreiber High School.  He has been in his current position since the fall of 2005.   Prior to his arrival at Schreiber, Mr. Weiss was an Assistant Principal at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Music & Art and the Performing Arts (A.K.A. "The Fame School") in New York City for 3 years where he ran the Science Department and taught classes in Biology, Physics and Advanced Placement Psychology.  Before becoming an administrator, he was a classroom teacher at 2 different high schools in New York City.  Mr. Weiss has a B.A. in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and an MSEd in Educational Administration from Baruch College.   He is originally from Long Island and now resides in Brooklyn with his wife and two children.  Mr. Weiss' hobbies include reading, creative writing and walking around his neighborhood in Brooklyn.   In addition to his career in public education, Mr. Weiss has also been an Outward Bound instructor in the Florida Everglades and a Facilitator for Supercamp.
