June Finals/Regents Exam Weeks
Dear Parents,
This letter includes useful information concerning June Testing. A testing schedule of dates, times and locations is included below. For further student reference the high school will have the testing schedule displayed in the lobby and guidance hallways. Classroom teachers have also provided testing information to the students. The Modified Bus schedule during testing weeks, Regents Review schedule and the June Testing schedule is available through the Schreiber Website.
The last day of classes for seniors is Thursday, June 8. The last day of classes for underclassmen is Friday, June 9.
The high school cafeteria will be open daily for breakfast and lunch but with a limited menu.
Please note that regardless of any information from the State Education Department or other sources, all Schreiber morning exams begin at 8:15 AM; all afternoon exams begin at 12:15 PM.
Local Final Exams will take place on Monday, June 12 and Tuesday, June 13. With the exception of Honors Biology, which will last for three hours, all local final exams are planned for two hours. Regents exams begin on the morning of Wednesday, June 14. All Regents exams are designed to be three hours.
Students with accommodations have exclusive testing arrangements organized through each department. If your child receives accommodations, please have them speak with their classroom teacher to identify the specific location of the exam.
To optimize testing security, no backpacks are permitted in the building. Any student attempting to enter with a backpack will have it confiscated by school personnel to be stored in a locked lobby closet. Any bag left after 3:30 PM will remain locked until the following school morning. No electronic devices are permitted during exams. Electronic devices are to be powered down and turned over to the testing proctor for the duration of the exam. Students in violation of this practice will be subject to an invalidation of the test.
Schreiber students are generally well-prepared for exams. The Schreiber community offers Regents specific review sessions. The schedule of the sessions is below. Please remind your child to prepare in advance for exams and to make time for rest and relaxation.

The AM buses will follow their regularly scheduled AM routes. Modified route buses will leave Schreiber at 11:25 and drop off students from AM exams. These will be the only PM buses routes available on testing days.
Students taking AM Exams on these days, should look at the modified Bus Routes 1,2, and 3 for the bus stop that is closest to their regular PM stop. This will determine which bus they should take home. There will be no regular pm buses. This information will be posted on the website.
