Dear 8th Grade Families,
On Wednesday, February 7th, Weber administrators, school counselors, and I will meet with 8th graders during their lunch periods to discuss the course selection process for freshman year. At this meeting, students will learn about the core courses they will be taking along with the elective course options they can choose from.
Each 8th grader will receive a Freshman Planning Guide along with a link to a course selection Google form. Students must submit this form by Friday, February 16th. Although freshmen follow a prescribed course schedule, they do have some choices in their elective and Physical Education courses.
Weber counselors will begin programming students for classes once they receive their students’ selections. Students are encouraged to speak to their counselors if they have any questions. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your child’s counselor. Additional information will be shared during the Freshman Orientation at Schreiber tonight, Monday, January 22nd.
