Application Process:

The criteria will be submitted to the local newspapers, the school web page and community agencies for publication. Applications will be sent out in response to these ads and in response to individual requests. This includes nominations from committee members (If a member makes a nomination, they must send the name to the Chairperson of the committee, so that bio can be requested if not already on file). The deadline for this will be the FIRST MONDAY in December.

A full questionnaire MUST be filled out by the candidate or the nominator in order to have all of the data collected for the committee to make the best decision necessary. (The nominee should fill it out, so they accept the nomination, as well as for thoroughness of information).

Selection Process:

  • Packets will be submitted to each committee member. It will include the suggested criteria so each biography can be reviewed and given a numerical grade.

  • Responses will be tabulated and a list of 12 finalists will be made and sent out to each committee member if in fact a consensus of 6 cannot be achieved initially.

  • The committee will then meet for the final decision at the beginning of April. Members may speak for any candidate to attain any pertinent information
