Who: Students who are intrerested in design, photography, illustration, advertising, and graphics will benefit from this course. This course is typically for students have taken Foundations in Studio Art and are are interested in visual communication as it pertains to print and web.  Many students can benefit greatly from this class without  drawing or rendering skills. This course is also open to any student as an elective. 
 
What: Students will use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign to produce vector and raster based graphics. During the first semester of this course students learn Adobe Illustrator. In the second semester, Advanced Computer Graphic students focus on Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, digital photography, scanning and printing.
 
When: A student may take this course any time during their four years of high school. Computer graphics is offered first semester, and Advanced Computer Graphics is offered second semester. 
 
Where: Mac Lab.
 
Why:  This course prepares students for a degree or career in computer graphics. Software utilized is industry standard, and students are provided with valuable experiences in the planning, development, and execution of design.
