Culture and Foods

Students will experience a “world tour” of cuisines from places such as Europe, Asia, and Latin America with other “stops” along the way. They will prepare, taste, and evaluate a variety of appetizers, main courses, and desserts from each location, while also exploring the cultural influences unique to each region. Students will be required to practice sound kitchen safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene procedures.
