FACS Senior Experience

Are you planning to live on your own in the near future? Would you like to complete a Senior Experience Project in Education/Childcare, Nutrition/Food Preparation, Fashion/Garment Construction, Interior Design, Entrepreneurship, or another related content area? If so, this course is for you. The fall semester will cover many aspects of the Family and Consumer Sciences curriculum as they relate to your transition to independent living. Lessons and activities will be differentiated based on your prior coursework. The spring semester will support your individualized Senior Experience as you complete an internship or project in one of our content areas or other topics of interest.
